It’s crazy how powerful our minds are. Have you ever had a hard time getting out of bed? Yup, that’s your brain attempting to keep you out of harm’s way. If you’re a caveman that never leaves the cave, you can’t be eaten by a wild animal.
Sometimes we go against the grain and take risks in our lives. Whether it’s getting the courage to ask that special someone out on a date or quitting your job. Some people may call you crazy for taking a risk while others may call you a hero.
Negative affirmations are what keep you from meeting your maximum potential.
You cannot fear anything except fear itself. Being scared to fail stems back to our school days. You take a class, get a bad grade, and then you’re considered stupid, an outcast, and your classmates make fun of you. I’m not saying that failing all of your classes is going to pave your way to success, but this quote from Gary Vaynerchuk is still a good reminder of how we can move forward whenever we don’t succeed:
“We need to embrace failure. We need to laugh when we fall down. We need to be willing to do the impossible.”
Money is important in our society. But money doesn’t make you successful. Success is accepting failure and how you respond to it. The more you fail and accept it, the greater amount of joy you will experience in life. I think It’s crazy that society feels that a corporate job is “safe” whereas it really is just a façade.
One day you’re making a good salary with benefits, and life is simple. Then a global pandemic hits, and you can get let go at a moment’s notice.
That’s why it’s important to have positive intentions for your life.
Otherwise, you’re going to find yourself complaining about a world that you don’t understand.
